After "Karzzz" failure, Himesh working harder than ever

Mumbai, Himesh Reshammiya has been lying low ever since his "Karzzz" fell flat at the box-office, but his silence is misleading as the actor-singer has just immersed himself in loads of work. Not only are two of his films almost complete, the third is set to go on floors soon.

"John Mathew Mathan's 'A New Love Ishtory' is almost complete. In fact, just four songs remain to be shot and after that is done, we will be through with the film's shoot. It's a nice romantic comedy and John has done exceedingly well with this genre," Himesh told IANS.

There was much buzz in the industry that many of his movies, including "Kajraare" by Pooja Bhatt, were being put on hold indefinitely. But Himesh said that the movie was very much on and that only one final schedule was left to be shot.

"I just didn't want to react when people thought that the film was shelved. What was the point in giving justifications when I knew the truth that the film was very much on," he quipped.

"Pooja Bhatt is a very good director. I'm looking forward to the last schedule of the film, which would take place between April 24 and May 5. Just a fortnight more of work and we would be all set with 'Kajraare' after that," Himesh added.

Himesh is also excited about a film being produced by Studio 18 that is set to go on floors any time.

"The film is titled 'Ishq Unplugged' and I begin shooting for it from March 1 onwards. It's directed by Swapna Joshi and is a romantic comedy," he said.

About the rumours doing the rounds about Himesh, one of the actor's close friends said: "Himesh was just observing how things were going around him. He chose not to react to any stories or idle gossip because instead of getting into debates and clarifying rumours, he wanted to concentrate on his work."

The friend added: "He knows that he is only two films old in the industry. He never shies away from working hard on his acting and look. Wait for a few more months, he will be back with a bang." source: http://www.bollywoodworld.com
