The Greg Biffle Foundation Donates

The Greg Biffle Foundation Donates to More Than 100 Animal Welfare Groups Across the United States Mooresville, N.C : The Greg Biffle Foundation is pleased to announce the recent grant donations to more than 100 humane societies and animal shelters across the United States, doubling the number of grants awarded last year. The Foundation received more than 200 applications throughout the year and was able to assist 112 animal welfare agencies located in 37 different states across the United States. Grant awards will be used to assist these animal welfare agencies with spay/neuter programs, vet care, pet supplies and much more. The financial contributions to the Carolina Animal Adoption League, located in South Carolina, will allow the facility to pursue and expand adoption options, while continuing to address the overpopulation problem through aggressive spay/neuter programs and assistance to low income residents. “Greg and Nicole have generously given of their time and resources to make a difference in the lives of animals,” said Jodi Geschickter of the Carolina Animal Adoption League. “As a rescuer, I can say that encouragement is essential…and they have been encouragers. They’ve given encouragement to each of us.” “We are very excited to be able to make donations to these organizations that work so tirelessly on a daily basis to improve animal welfare,” said Emily DiNunzio, Greg Biffle Foundation Executive Director. ”Greg and Nicole find much joy in being able to assist these organizations.” Source : www.theautochannel.com (2/3/2009)
