MCALLEN, Texas, -- Local politicians and business leaders helped Infinity Insurance celebrate the grand opening of a new 325- seat call center today in McAllen, TX. Infinity broke ground seven months ago on the facility that boasts state of the art telecom technology and a modular design. The new operation brings a welcome lift to the McAllen economy. Infinity employed local resources during construction.
The Company will host a job fair at the new call center on Saturday, Feb. 7th 10:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m. on 900 E. Laurel Ave. All interested applicants must fill out an online application at infinity.jobs.
McAllen Mayor, Richard Cortez commented, "In today's market, I'm glad that a company like Infinity is able to find success and bring new economic opportunities to McAllen."
"Infinity considered many sites for this call center. We selected McAllen for the excellent infrastructure, the population of skilled and loyal employees, and the local government that earnestly supports economic development," said Jim Gober, Infinity's President and CEO.
