New Delhi
The Centre has granted Rs two crore to the The Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) for watershed management course.
The Department of Land Resources of Rural Development Ministry has sanctioned the amount to develop an intensive Diploma Programme in the Watershed Management.
The diploma programme would be developed to build up steady inflow of trained personnel in watershed development, management, conservation and other rural extension work in the country, according to a press release issued by the chief PRO of IGNOU.
