New course in pharmaceutical sales at IGNOU

NEW DELHI: Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) here has launched a one-year post-graduate diploma in pharmaceutical sales management.
The course will be available to those who have graduated in science (B.Sc., B. Pharm, BIMS, BAMS, Bachelor of Physiotherapy etc.) and also to non-science graduates who have a diploma in pharmacy.‘First time’
“This course is specially designed for those who seek to build a career as a medical representative and for the capacity building of those already in this profession. It is perhaps for the first time that such a programme is being offered through distance mode,” said an IGNOU official here.
The course comprises six subjects, of which four are about pharmacy and the other two are related to management and marketing of pharmaceutical products.

The last date for submitting the application forms is February 15 and the course fee is Rs.7,500.
